The top-ranked Knights survived a late scare Friday night, holding off a furious Wildcat rally to escape with a victory that kept their perfect season intact. Bishop Kelly built a commanding 22-7 lead entering the fourth quarter, but Columbia stormed back with a pair of late touchdowns to make things interesting before Bishop Kelly managed to hang on for the narrow 22-20 victory.

     The Knights of Bishop Kelly cap off an undefeated season and win the Idaho 4A State Championship with a thrilling 29-26 victory over the Hillcrest Knights on the Blue Turf of Albertson Stadium on the Boise State University campus.

     The Knights enter the 2023 4A State Football Playoffs as the #2 seed.  Bishop Kelly hosted the Burley Bobcats on Oct. 27th at Nick Ysursa Field for the opening round game. BK picks up the 48-12 win and advances to the quarterfinal round where they'll face Emmett on Nov. 3rd.

    In the opening round of the District 1AD2 boys basketball tournament, St. John Bosco Academy defeated the Highland Huskies by a final score of 67-51.

     KGVI-FM in Grangeville brings you St. John Bosco Academy basketball.  The Lady Patriots enjoyed a 43-14 blowout win over the Highland Huskies.  Gene Weckman & Elijah Rousey bring you all the action from Highland H.S. in Craigmont.

   A wild third quarter saw the two teams combine for 30 points in the first 2 minutes, 46 seconds. In the end, BK couldn’t keep pace with the Skyline. After a close battle for three quarters, the Grizzlies outscored Bishop Kelly 15-0 in the fourth quarter to earn a 50-35 victory for its third consecutive 4A title

     The top-seeded Knights rolled past #4 Minico 33-15 in the 4A State Semi-finals on Friday night, extending their dominating march through the playoffs. BK quarterback Hadley Smith finished 10-for-17 for 155 yards and three TDs.  The win sends Bishop Kelly (12-0) to the State Championship for the first time since 2018. The Knights will face Skyline (9-3) for the title at Holt Arena in Pocatello.

Bishop Kelly rolled to a 28-7 home win over Pocatello in the 4A state quarterfinals, avenging a 28-17 loss to the Thunder a year ago in the same round. The top-ranked Knights haven’t lost a game since. Junior running back Peter Minnaert had 36 carries for 251 yards and three touchdowns to help propel BK into the Semi-Finals. The Knights will host the #4 Minico Spartans this Friday night at 7pm.

   On "Senior Night" at Nick Ysursa Field, the Bishop Kelly Knights defeat the Emmett Huskies 43-19 in a key 4A SIC match-up.

     The 2022 Homecoming Game featured the Bishop Kelly Knights hosting the Burley Bobcats.  BK rose to the occasion and walked off of Nick Ysursa Field with a huge 63-14 victory to improve to a perfect 6-0 for the season.

Friday night, #2-ranked Bishop Kelly suffocated the run-heavy offense of Vallivue and cruised to a 35-6 road win, the Knights’ 15th straight victory over the Falcons.  Vallivue running back Tyson Fox entered as the leading rusher in 4A averaging 186 yards per game. He gained only 146 yards on 27 carries despite being tackled for a loss six times.

     A great running game helped Bishop Kelly defeat another 5A opponent - this time, a 35-0 shutout over the Centennial Patriots.  Tom Hiler brings you all the action from the Knights home opener at Nick Ysursa Field.

First-round play-offs

   Bishop Kelly enjoyed a huge 54-7 win over Ridgevue on Senior Night.  Tom Hiler with the play-by-play action from Nick Ysursa Field on the BK campus.  The Knights have wrapped up the regular season and now await the 4A play-offs.

     The Bishop Kelly varsity football team won Friday's away conference game against Nampa by a score of 42-13.

   During the opening round of the Idaho 4A State Football Playoffs, the Knights hosted the Canyon Ridge Riverhawks.  Bishop Kelly won a lop-sided game 57-7 to move to the next round, hosting Nampa on Nov. 8.

   Another close game against the Falcons!  Bishop Kelly capitalized on a couple of Vallivue turnovers en route to a 34-27 victory in the 4A State Semi-Final.  The Knights will now face...the KNIGHTS (Hillcrest High School) for the title.

The Knights get some revenge from last year with a hard-fought win over the Skyline Grizzlies.  BK capitalized on turnovers to scratch out a 35-21 victory in this 4A quarter-final.  Bishop Kelly will face Vallivue in the semi-final next.
