Enjoy this new episode of SAINT-SCAPADES where we learn about St. Notburga, Patroness of servants and peasants. Born in 1265 at Rattenberg on the Inn and died September 16, 1313. She was cook in the family of Count Henry of Rothenburg, and used to give food to the poor. Her feast is celebrated on September 14th. She is generally represented with an ear of corn (or flowers) and a sickle in her hand, or sometimes with a sickle suspended in the air.
