John Vitz from Angelus Music returns to Morning Light as part of our weekly "Sacred Music" segment. As Easter draws near, so does Holy Thursday and the Institution of The Holy Eucharist. John talks about The Last Supper as the first Mass as we share two songs from the CD "A Mass for Peace in the Third Millennium."  The first one is  "Pax Vobiscum / Agnus Dei"  [CUT 20] which are 2 prayers sung together as one.  The second song is "Ecce Agnus Dei"  [CUT 21] and includes the reception of Holy Communion and the words said by the priest, prior to Vatican II, when we received the Sacrament.

James Valois moderates today's Catholic Book Club on Morning Light, talking about his new book “Our Lady's Prophecies: God's Messages for Our Time” available now (as of Feb. 20th) James has a B.A in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville where he became a revert to the Catholic faith from Evangelicalism while a student there.

This is a true story about Venerable Mother Mariana de Jesus, a Conceptionist nun, who received apparitions from our Lady of Good Success of the Purification and was given many prophecies specifically for our times; these apparitions have been approved by the local bishop in 1611 and upheld by every bishop since that time.

In 1582, Mother Mariana received an apparition of Jesus crucified, the Blessed Virgin, and St. Mary Magdalene, all life size - the vision of the three swords because three swords appeared with the words--heresy, blasphemy and impurity on each of them.

Salt & Light Catholic Radio now presents “Jesus the Bridegroom” as Sister Beverly from Marymount Hermitage shares more about this divine love story between Christ and His bride - the Church.  Based on the book by Dr. Brant Pitre, Sister Beverly helps us see the entire history of salvation - from Mount Sinai to Mount Calvary.

Today’s episode discusses the ratification of the covenant between God and His people. From the Book of Exodus, if we look at the God of Isreal as the Divine Bridegroom, then sin is really just spiritual adultery.
