Leonardo Sanchez from Bishop Kelly High School is the latest recipient of the Blessed Carlo Acutis Distinguished Graduate Award. He was nominated by Laura Reeping at St. Paul's who says: “Leo is a young man who practices his Faith.  He attended St. Paul's School from 6th to 8th grade, was an altar server and in the choir at school and parish masses. He is a lector, youth minister, camp counselor at Jr. High Camp, and is always willing to be a light of Christ to others, especially his peers. 

Gina Schmidt returns to Morning Light to cover some general summer health and safety topics. Summer is actually a time of year when many accidents and injuries occur. So, Gina joins us to help you and your families get prepared for fun in the sun and water. 

In our weekly vocations segment, Morning Light introduces you to Fr. Larry Barile from the Diocese of Norwich, CT.  Fr. Larry is a late vocation to the priesthood, having been a husband, father and respiratory therapist for almost 30 years before joining the seminary!
