"Catholic Counseling" is a weekly segment of Morning Light, where we've assembled a panel of experts to help Catholics maintain good mental health.  From Cornerstone Psychological Associates in Boise, we welcome back Dr. Joe Lipetzky to share thoughts on the topic of "Loyalty"  as found in the book "Building Character" by David Isaacs.

Morning Light congratulates Ben Brown - winner of Salt & Light Radio's Blessed Carlo Acutis Distinguished Graduate award for contributions to the community. Ben talks about some of the service projects he's led and participated in over the past four years and shares his plans for the future after graduation.

"Cooking With Scripture" is a weekly segment of Morning Light hosted by Chef Lou Aaron, owner of Westside Drive-In and a Deacon at Our Lady of the Rosary parish in SE Boise. Today, while Brian & Hope enjoy some delicious barley with apples, figs and cinnamon...Chef Lou reads from the Book of Deuteronomy 8:8, highlighting the seven species: wheat, barley, grape, fig, pomegranates, olive (oil), and date (date honey). Only the first fruits were acceptable offerings in the Temple.
