Paul Ford joins Morning Light today to talk about Catholic education. He shares the story of a Supreme Court ruling regarding Catholic Education and how the Knights of Columbus got involved in this historical decision. This is the case about the Society of Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, and the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on June 1, 1925, against an Oregon law requiring children to attend public schools which was ruled unconstitutional. This ruling was important since the Oregon law was primarily intended to eliminate parochial schools.
