Dcn. Aleksander Debowski joins Morning Light to talk about his upcoming Big Day - he is one of 4 Transitional Deacons who will be ordained on June 3rd at the Cathedral.

     Morning Light interviews Luis Gutierrez, our first winner of a Blessed Carlo Acutis Distinguished Graduate Award.  Luis is a Senior at Bishop Kelly High School and hopes to study zoology at the University of Idaho in the fall.

     Emily Woodham returns to moderate Catholic Book Club today on Morning Light.  The book she’s highlighted has a Mother’s Day theme - “Be the Gift” by Ann Voskamp.

     Morning Light welcomes back The Coaching Educator - Rebecca M. Carroll - with two pieces of advice for parents of high school seniors about to graduate.  Teach them "adult" things over the summer - drive through a car wash, use an ATM, learn how to change a tire, etc.  Also, fill out a Power of Attorney form before they go off to college.
