During this Year of St. Joseph, Morning Light will take some time each week to discuss him in greater detail.  This month’s theme if you will is "St Joseph - Most Chaste" so we talk about chastity with a seminarian for the Diocese of Boise - Josh Tennyson. 

     It is Day 8 of Morning Light's on-air Consecration to St. Joseph, following the book by Fr. Donald Calloway.  Today, “St. Joseph, Pray For Us.”  Marriage is at the heart of creation and redemption.  Adam and Eve were present at the beginning of creation (Old Testament) … Joseph and Mary are present at the beginning of God’s re-creation (New Testament).  Just as Adam was the head of the first covenant family, St. Joseph is the head of the new covenant family - he is Head of the Holy Family and Patron of the Universal Church.

     Emily Woodham joins Morning Light to moderate today’s Catholic Book Club.  "Walking With Mary" by Ed Sri looks at the life of Mary and explores what we can learn from her extraordinary humility, faith, and courage.
